Lutishia Lovely takes readers to Gospel Truth Church in the next installment of her Church Series, in Reverend Feelgood.  Rev. Nathaniel “Nate” Thicke is young, handsome, and a gifted speaker within the church community. He finds it quite an honor to be mentored by Pastors Derrick Montgomery and King Brooks, featured in her previous novels. Like his grandfather, he is continuing the tradition of “covering” his flock.  When Nate decides to get married, all hell breaks loose within the church.

Destiny Noble had her eyes on Nate since she was 12 years old.  When her grandmother told her that Nate wanted to have dinner with her, she was ready and willing to service him.  After all she was next in line to carry on the family tradition.  Destiny was not prepared for what would happen next.

If you have read the books in this series, you know that this is not Christian Fiction.  However, Lovely does a fantastic job of giving readers an inside look at her interpretation of Christian folk.  The characters are lively, funny, and realistic.  She touched on tradition, generational practices, lust, envy, faith, self-esteem, love, respect and trust.  I turned each page eagerly waiting to see what would/could happen next.  I can not wait to see how Ms. Lovely will follow up this story.
