A Serial Affair by Natalie Dunbar takes readers along for a captivating ride to try and find a serial killer. The suspenseful elements of this story were magnificently written. Natalie skillfully captures the readers’ attention as the story moves forward. The only criticism was even though, this was a romantic suspense, it was heavy on the suspense but not the romance. I found myself wanting more passion from Marina and Reed. Yes, the two were trying to find a serial killer but the attraction they held for one another was there but it was not as strong as it could have been. The race to find the serial killer is at the core of this story and definitely something that I recommend for readers to pick up and sink their teeth into.
