Heading:  Living Single in God’s Will

The churches in this country are overflowing with single, saved women who will testify to the fact that they are indeed living for the Lord, but the struggles that even Christian women face will not be discussed in detail.  We have been told to pray, stay busy, or that it is better to marry than to burn (usually used out of context), but in The Single Christian Woman’s “Fight for Focus” by Evangelist Sheri Allen, we receive a straightforward message on how to live a single, Christian life without compromise.

Evangelist Allen shares her experiences while explaining and exposing herself for the world to see in order to help those who have been there, may go there, or can be prevented from ever getting there at all.  Her point-blank, honest and loving approach to what single women face and how they should handle themselves according to God’s Word is refreshing, and will cause you to take a step back and look at your life as a single woman who has embraced a life with God.

We know that the enemy comes in many ways in order to deceive us, but Evangelist Allen makes it clear that just because a man is saved and filled, it does not mean he is the one God has prepared just for you.  She takes the time to address such issues as S.piritual A.ttention D.eficit D.isorder, marriage, SPV (Spiritual Peripheral Vision) and Living on Purpose and more based on the Word of God.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading The Single Christian Woman’s “Fight for Focus” simply because The Word of God is shared without being preachy, and it is a timely book for women of all ages, especially our teens and young adults.  I recommend this book to women everywhere, specifically those of the household of faith.
