Single Husbands by Honey B is one of her latest and greatest works of urban fiction. Ms. Honey takes us on a wild ride through the lives of three wealthy men and the women who love, cherish and chose to wed them. We are introduced to some down-low activity on parts, the men as well as the women. We frequent sex clubs and participate in quenching our lusty thirsts with outrageous sex scenes. There are a multitude of children inside and outside of the marriages who are missing quality time but are financially well taken care of. Infidelity is at its highest and it gets better–they are all friends. To what extend would you go to find true love and happiness?
Herschel is a kept man, but even though he is a white collar worker and has a pretty decent bank account nothing compares to his wife, Nikki. Nikki owns a sex catering business and has a list of wealthy clients who love what she has to offer. Herschel would love nothing but to be the man in his household, but with Nikki’s overbearing personality and wealth, Herschel is willing to take a backseat and let her shine. How long can Herschel contend with the once a month sex sessions his wife is doling out when he can get plenty elsewhere?
Brian and Michelle are a corporate power couple, working hard and playing just as hard; it appears that they have the perfect marriage. On the inside they are spiritually connected and no man shall put them under, with the exception of Michelle’s mom. How far is a mother willing to go to show their child that the man they married is not who they think he is?
Lexington and Donna are stuck in a marital rut. Lexington wants his cake and eat it too, while poor Donna stays at home and tends to his children. Having been married over 10 years, is the party over? Can Donna convince Lexington that she is still in love with him and only him, or will Lexington’s wandering eye lead him astray?
Single Husbands is comical, interesting, and gives a fresh outlook on marriage. While all husbands are not unfaithful, there are many who want to still act like they are single, while doling out chores, allowances and such to the wife. This was a fast-paced, drama-filled read that will have you staying awake all night just to find out what the wives will do. Kudos to Honey B. I recommend Single Husbands to readers of all genres and Honey B fans.
