African American book review for Forever Soul TiesButterfly met Ethan Roberts in high school, but her choice not to wait for him to make a decision concerning his girlfriend at that time was one that she knew was right all those years ago, but rekindling a friendship with Ethan in later years proved to be than she bargained for in Vanessa David Griggs’ Forever Soul Ties.

The very things that tied Butterfly and Ethan together when they were teens was alive and well as they began to move to get reacquainted with one another.  Butterfly was not particularly happy in her marriage with her husband, Zeke, and neither was Ethan with his wife, but it was no excuse to begin entertaining one another and allowing things between them to get as far they did.

What would it take for these two people of God to see themselves and seek restoration from God, or will they be tied to one another forever physically as well as spiritually?

I enjoyed reading Forever Soul Ties because from beginning to end, I felt like I was Butterfly experiencing her emotions and feelings just as she did.  It also sent me to my Bible to find out about soul ties, and if it is indeed a God principle in order to see where I can apply it to my life.  I recommend this book to everyone.
