He and a couple of my friends have been working with him campaigning for Obama and he was visiting local churches encouraging people to register. How inspired is this guy??? He told me that the last election he participated in was when Bill Clinton ran for President 15 years ago. He was told by some people that Barack was a fan of The Wire and Omar was his all time favorite character on the show. Weeks later(during the start of the May primary) he got the chance to meet Barack in Harrisburg Pa. After Barack finished speaking, he went backstage and one of his advisors told him Michael K. Williams was backstage waiting to meet... Michael told me Barack went straight South Side brother screaming, OMAR'S HERE???!!! WHERE HE AT??? WHERE HE AT??!!! Michael said when Barack Obama snatched him into a brotherly hug and raved about the character Omar, he was speechless the entire time and just let the man hug him, lol!
