Hey, hey, hey. Love the list. I second This Christmas by the Whispers but Chris Brown's version ain't too bad. Of course, there is no Christmas without the Temps singing Silent Night and Eartha Kitt singing Santa Baby. I also like Vanessa Williams' CD. I love the original Baby It’s Cold Outside. I feel in love with that song from an episode of A Different World.

I love christmas music Period. Now, I have heard the worst Christmas music and that would have to be Death Row Christmas. A friend had it and ummm…well……it really did not put me in the spirit at all.

Christmas music, oh yeah, I have lots of favorites! Of course, Donny Hathaway's "This Christmas" is near the top of my list. I also enjoy Charles Brown's version of "Merry Christmas, Baby" (it's real bluesy and reminds me of home). But my favorite Christmas song is, "I Know My Redeemer Liveth" sung by Tevin Campbell on a cd called "Handel's Messiah: A Soulful Celebration." I also enjoy a couple of jazz Christmas cds--Boney James' "Funky Christmas" and Grover Washington's "Breath of Heaven." Lori´s last blog post..
