A Special SummerA Special Summer is the debut novel by Victoria Wells. At first glance, one would think that Summer Jackson and Nicholas Stiles had the perfect relationship. Summer was a young, single and very attractive nurse who was determined to save herself for one man. Nicholas was a handsome self-made millionaire. After meeting at a charity dinner, Nick knew that he had to get to know this beauty. Summer was not like all of the other women that Nick was used to dating. The kind that was only interested in what they could receive. Summer was humble and she did not mind telling him what she thought. Summer’s world came to an abrupt end when Nick ended their relationship without an explanation. Eight months later, Nick returns with hope to renew their relationship but he learns that Summer has withheld something from him that he feared.

Wells has crafted a different romance novel. She created two characters that are forced to face their character flaws in order to rekindle a love that never ended. The story was very realistic and filled with emotions. It was very easy to see the dilemma that each character was faced with and the decisions that they had to make. At times, it moved slowly but only to bring readers to a very fulfilling ending. This book is recommended for everyone that believes in Happily Ever After.
