In Suicide Diaries by Ebonee Monique, Lauren Washington searches for answers about her mother’s mysterious death when she was nine years-old. It left her and her father lost and forced to move on. Now 26 years-old, Lauren is Atlanta’s top DJ and outwardly seems to be doing well. She has a loving boyfriend, Brendan, of eight years; two wonderful best friends; and she is turning her childhood house into the wonderful home of her dreams. But Lauren cannot be truly fulfilled until she can get some answers about her mother’s death. As she begins to search, with the help of a private investigator, things quickly take a turn for the worse. Her father will not answer any of her questions and her boyfriend, Brendan, is acting strange. Just as quick as the problems came, so did the worst; Brendan commits suicide. Determined to figure out what was going on with the love of her life, Lauren digs deeper into his past. Is she ready for what lies beneath the surface? Can she handle the truth of her mother’s murder?

Ebonee Monique takes you full force into the consequences of suicide. It does not just affect the life taken, but all those attached to that life. You are inserted into the mind of Lauren through her diary entries. Her emotional journey leaves you breathless. Full of love, pain, mystery, and lies, SUICIDE DIARIES is a must read.
