Sunday Salon– A Little Bit of This, A Little Bit of That

How’s everyone today? Me? I’m worn out. Yesterday was action-packed, busy from 7am – midnight. I’m so happy that I’m on vacation this week, as if I were not, I’m not sure I would be able to go in tomorrow. LOL. I’ve been up since 9am today and have done very little of much. Oh, I am reading The Heretic’s Daughter by Kathleen Kent and really enjoying it. And, I made a nice, home style breakfast. Read emails, blogs (via Goggle Reader) and now I’m working on this week’s Sunday Salon. It’s cold here, and reading Heretic’s Daughter is making me feel colder. Whew…life in the 1600s was NO JOKE. I believe we’re all born when we’re supposed to be…at the right time…hopefully in the right place…living without creature comforts I take for granted today…would not have worked for me during the 1600s. Sure, if I was born during that time frame I guess I would have survived…or died. LOL.
Even tho’ the living is hard and I’m so glad that I wasn’t born during the time frame in the book, I’m enjoying Heretic’s Daughter. However, I must admit I’m ready to get to the witches, witchcraft, burnings, all things witches because isn’t this book supposed to be about that subject matter? Or am I mistaken…should I go back and read the book description. LOL. Okay, will do, but before I do, here’s a little bit of this, a little bit of that on what’s going on and what’s coming up at APOOO later this week.

What book are you currently reading? Dirty Little Angel by Erica Hilton. At the half way mark. Enjoying it.

I am currently reading the APOOO BOM – Love Child’s Revenge. That Peach Harrision is a hateful, spiteful woman so far.
I think I will read a romance next. Maybe one by Rochelle Alers or Bette Ford.

I have been busy this weekend nonstop from the time I got off Friday. Did the manicure/pedicure thing Friday night; didn’t get home until after 9.00pm. Saturday, went to a matinee play, then two literary events. Sunday, church and then finally to see Soul Man, which I loved.
My activities left very little time for reading but I finally finished STand the Storm, over a week reading but I loved it. Finsihing our the BOM, Love Child’s Revenge.
