One of the great rewards of being part of Book Blogger Appreciation Weekis all the great finds. Okay, for some of you, who have been part of Book Bloggers for awhile, this is old news. But, for someone like me, who just discovered many of you, it’s new and exciting. LOL. It’s all about Teaser Tuesdays. What exactly is Teaser Tuesday you ask? Here’s a description straight from the horse’s mouth Should Be Reading’s Web site. Note, I modified it slightly.
TEASER TUESDAYS asks you to:
Grab your current read. Let the book fall open to a random page. Share with us two(2) or three (3) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12. It can be two-three sentences from anywhere on the page. Tell us the page number. You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given! Please avoid spoilers!
APOOO is always looking for good books to read and recommend. So come join us, leave your teaser via the comment section and don’t forget to tell us what the title of the book is. Who’s first?
Okay, I need to add a book but I’m not at home and don’t have a book with me…so I’m going to borrow prose that was previously shared by APOOO member, Phyllis Rhodes.
But rogues and thieves were very different animals. Rogues broke into your house while you were sleeping and made off with the fine china. Thieves worked for the government and stole money from the public treasury.
Title: House at Sugar Beach by Helene Cooper, APOOO’s October BOM.

Technically it doesn’t have a page number. It’s WEEK ONE A.J.D.
The thought caused a sinister grin to come over Carson’s face. As he continued en route to his destination, he thought about ways to exploit his feelings as a weakness. He was certain that Nan’s love would be the death of him…and he would be the dealer.
