Oh Lord, I’m So Old.
My favorite childhood movies are:
My Friend Flicka
Ring of Bright Water
101 Dalmatians
The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes
Flubber
Every James Bond movie up until Never Say Never Again (they played a different one at the Kings Plaza movie theater every Wednesday one summer)
and then I discovered Blaxploitation…
which are NOT “childhood movies” yet I Saw Them In My Childhood.
(Another summer at the Gates in Bed-Stuy they had a different double header every Wed. They had roaches in the popcorn and rats scurrying around on the floor but the movie was like $1.50. The day The Education of Sonny Carson came out there was a fire in the theater and me and my little sister got separated)

Absolutely love Claudine, I always try to watch it when it comes on TV One. Love Jaws, that movies still scares me. Lady Sings the Blues is a classic.
