For those of you saying Mary Higgins Clark, I couldn't agree with you more. I learned about her through the movie version of her books. Then got hooked reading them some years ago. Barbara Taylor Bradford is a good choice as well. So many people so many choices. I used to read Anne Rice years ago. Joyce Carol Oates should be on there as well I think.
