I had no idea so many strange things were dropped. I once waited while the second shoe dropped on New Year’s Eve.

So I see we can maybe find each other on Thursdays if we use the phrase Thirteen Thursday in our title and check the technorati link.

Joy, oh my gosh…I’ve worn glasses for 35 years so I can imagine what it feels like not to be able to see…and it’s frustrating…glad your clip-on was found. Oh yeah I think they lower the space needle in Seattle…how far are you from there.

I don't know of anything in SW Washington that gets dropped to bring in the new year. But I dropped my clip-on reading glasses somewhere in my Mom's house last evening and spent the last five hours of 2008 and the first hour of 2009 frantically searching for them. Had to do last night's post with my nose three inches from the screen. My sister searched the same areas for me this afternoon with her better eyes and still nada. Then just as I was calling up this site to thank Yasmin for her visit to my very lazy Happy New Year post, my nephew brought my clip-ons in to me. He had just found them in the dishwasher as he was putting away the dishes. So I guess they must have fallen off the collar of my shirt when I tripped over the dishwasher door while cleaning up the dinner mess.
