It is rare that I come across a novel that can keep me guessing and wanting to solve the hidden truths behind it. In this new installment, Unraveled, author Maxx Kilbourne brings readers into the confused world surrounding Sam Bradford. Sam is known as a wonderful counselor, loving husband, and supportive and dependable friend. It would be great if he could just remember all these things about himself. Sam Bradford’s world is not simple anymore because he has amnesia, which has landed him into a lot of trouble. Can Sam and his colleagues unravel the mystery of his memories before it is too late?
Yvette is a young woman with a plan and that is getting the man she wants by any means necessary. She enlists several accomplices to help her run havoc on those in her way. Will her plans backfire or run their course? Robin is in love with the man of her dreams and he treats her with love and respect. As a happily married woman, Robin feels nothing can go wrong until that one awful day, which makes her realize that things are not always as they seem.
Unraveled had me frustrated, angry, and confused all at the same time. This book will have readers guessing with its suspense and unexpected twists, until the last page is turned. The author’s display of mischievous characters and well-developed plot provides an exciting and entertaining book that will make readers want more from this author. I definitely recommend this book to others.
