Love Prevails
Vegas Bites: Three of a Kind by Natalie Dunbar, Monique Lamont, J.M. Jeffries, and Seressia Glass, is the third installment into the French Quarter and the lives of The Temples, a powerful Were pack; an interspecies and magical beings family. With Malcolm, now happily married and the new leader of the pack, everything around and involving the Temple pack should be smooth sailing from now on, but will it be?
In Walks Trouble by Seressia Glass reunites Devon, the runaway wife, to her angry husband Marcus. After missing for a year, Devon returns to French Quarter bringing trouble with her. Devon arrived for the first time at the casino and left the night of her honeymoon because of her job. Why has she returned? Will Marcus and the rest of the Temple pack be willing to take her back as a part of the family?
In Royal Pursuit by Monique Lamont, Leult Tashi Shayera is an African Princess, who finds out there is a mutiny forming among her people. Tashi remembers her father telling her if she ever needs help to go and find the one man who will be able to help her, but the man she finds is so much more than what she was seeking. Will she use him to quell the heat she is feeling between her thighs and throw him to the wayside once they arrive on the Vegas strip? Or will the powers of the Great Spirit win when it involves matters of the heart?
Claire Temple is in San Francisco, accompanied by her cousin, Izzy Barker on business for the French Quarter. While at a convention Claire meets a mysterious man, when she comes across a mage by the name of Dante De Luca. In The Wolf That Wasn’t by Natalie Dunbar, Dante makes Claire promise never to return to San Francisco no matter how much she wants to see him. A spell has been cast and it will take a lot of magic to break the force keeping them apart. Will they succeed or will someone die while trying to be together?
The Nature of the Beast by J.M. Jeffries brings the most unusual pack from Rio de Janiero to Las Vegas. Marisol Santiago takes in the abandon Were children, but the last three prove to be more than she can handle. With nowhere else to turn, Marisol brings Carlos, Juan, and Pablo to the Temple pack for help. Exactly who is it that needs help, the boys or Marisol?
Vegas Bites: Three of a Kind is an anthology filled with new adventures and mystical beings. The drama is so different in each story, but the element of doing whatever it takes to save your family and the ones you love is obvious in all four stories. I read an uncorrected ARC, and I hope that the editing was polished in the final and corrected draft. I recommend Vegas Bites: Three of a Kind to lovers of the paranormal world; even some romance readers will enjoy these stories.
