Excellent interview. I had the pleasure of reading Message from a Mistress and it was off the chain. I am dying to read the next book to find out which husband has been a bad boy. Niobia always gives me books that keep me on the edge of my seat this is why I enjoy her as a writer. Keep it up girl and hurry with the next book.

Niobia, when you think about it, there’s a number of similarities between the 1949 film classic (and Best Picture Oscar winner) A Letter To Three Wives and the current TV show Desperate Housewives. A narrator who’s heard but not seen…an upscale suburban neighborhood…the vixen (Addie Ross in the film, the Edie character on DH)…the wife out-earning her husband (Rita Phipps in the film, Lynette Scavo on DH). I always felt the creator of the show was more than a little inspired by the film!
