Okay, I don’t know if anyone else is doing this…and if they are…I don’t know of anyone else doing it on Wednesday…although I didn’t check every book bloggers site to find out. So, I’m going to give it a try.
Each Wednesday, I will feature various book contests going on around the blogosphere. If you know of any contest, or would like to have your contest promoted, please send me details. Or you can just include your link in the comments section. Because of BBAW, I found tons of contests. I even entered a few of them…and guess what, I won some books. Books that I would not have heard of if I wasn’t participating in BBAW. Books that bloggers made sound so good, and after I kept reading good reviews regarding a few of them, I knew I had to enter the contest. So check out the books that I won:
Not bad for my first attempts. Now, I must admit I increased my odds of winning by entering every contest I ran across. LOL. I even wrote an essay to win one of them. Can you guess which one…lol. CLICK HERE to read my essay. Additionally, I increased my chances of winning for a couple of them by including the links in subsequent blogs…like I’m getting ready to do below.
Here’s a couple of contest that I’ve come across this week:
Thursday’s Thoughts
Bermudaonion’s Weblog is giving away a copy of Brad Meltzer’s The Book Of Lies.
Amy at The Sleepy Reader is giving away an ARC of Testimony by Anita Shreve.
Literarily is giving away an ARC copy of The Smart One and The Pretty One by Claire LaZebnik.
Everyday I Write the Book is giving away a copy of Matrimony by Josh Henkins.
J. Kaye is giving away a copy of You’ve Been Warned by James Patterson.
House and Home by Kathleen Mccleary is being raffled off at The Cottage Nest.
The Professors’ Wives Club is being giving away by Book Room Reviews.
All of these contests close within the next few days and definitely by the end of September, so make sure you visit them soon, if you are interested in any of the titles. Can you think of any other book giveaways and contests that APOOO should add to the list?
PS–I need a banner/button for Wednesday Winners…hmmm or maybe I’ll just keep the name Warmest Wednesdays and devote it to Winnings and Contest. What say you?
UPDATE: I found another book giveaway. Cheryl’s Book Nook is giving aways five copies of Rush Home Road by Lori Lansen. CLICK HERE for more details.

Warmest Wednesday sounds good to me.
Congrats on winning. A few months ago I won practically ever contest I came in contact with and I told myself I needed to give others a chance, but now that you have won a few…it’s time for me to get back out there.
The last book I won was Seduction by Geneva Holliday. I had entered a contest and forgot about it until I got an email telling me I won.
See you around the blogosphere.
