Where The Line Bleeds by Jesmyn Ward–What APOOO book club member Angelia had to say about Where the Line Bleeds.

Where The Line Bleeds by Jesmyn Ward is a an inside glance at how different brothers of the same mother can be. Joshua and Christophe are fraternal twins, growing up in the bayou. They are so similiar but have such different life views. Josh chooses a path of work, however, Christophe, chooses street life and quick cash.

Whip Appeal by Meta Smith–Here’s what APOOO book club member, Sharon had to say about Whip Appeal.

It was a quick read because I had to get to the end to see what happened.   You enter into the world of a successful dominatrix who was brought up to always seek men who could buy her the world.  She has no desire to fall in love but soon that all changes and she wants to rethink her career.  Her life becomes in danger and the story starts to unfold with twist, turns and suspense and the erotic moments aren’t too shabby either.  It looks like there’s going to be a sequel.
