Ya’ll this post is very RAW…because I just heard the news! Did you hear?
Move over Mitt Romney!
McCain chose a woman for his VP–Alaska’s Governor–Sarah Palin…oh my gosh he did what I never thought he would do…brillant move on the Republican’s part…because, unfortunately some folks will be swayed and moved by the smoke and mirrors…esp. a lot of the NoBamas, Hillary die-hards…the battle just became harder…dayum this is going to be an election year like no other…and I ain’t got time to sit back and eat popcorn and drink coke from the sidelines, I know what I will be doing this weekend and each weekend (and some evenings) from now until Election Tuesday in November.
Dayum, dayum, dayum…I didn’t even see this coming…what a ballsy move!

I think this song is very apropo, You Dropped a Bomb on Me by the Gap Band…lol. Look out Cindy they’re already calling her another trophy…but you’re safe because she doesn’t have your money. 
Now I ain’t saying that close quarters wouldn’t breed familarity in more ways than one. Ha.

Yep, they were slick with this one. All those crying women who are still mad about Hillary will be swayed. I have to keep telling myself. Yes, we can, yes we can!

Angelia–I hope he has played himself…watching Palin give her acceptance speech today was SO VERY PAINFUL!
You got it right on the head. The worst thing about it is we never saw it coming. I think die-hard Hilliary supporters are going to flee to McCain. The are going to buy the “woman running thing” and think to slap Obama for not picking Hilliary. If McCain dropped dead 3 days after entering the white house the Republicans will go down in history for having the first woman president. I hope these women see through this.
Angelia–the scandal in question is the following–
Allegedly one of her staffers called to try and get her BIL fired because he was going through a bitter child custody battle with her sister…said staffer was fired/dismissed…and said Governor said that she never asked the staffer to make the phone call…so that’s something that can be swept under the rug. I ain’t discounting her because for every Rethuglican who says they won’t vote for McCain, there is probably one Dem who will vote because he added a woman to the ticket. It will be interesting to see how all of this plays out in the next 67 days…no time to rest on laurels…:)
It was but she has some scandals attached to her, ethics stuff and there are many old skool rep men, who will sit it out, quietly…we are going to be fine…

Angelia–go get em sis…round up the troops…I heard that FL has hundreds of thousands of unregistered black voters…and if 100-200K of them would register and get out to vote FL could be a swing state.
HE did drop a bomb, but I am keeping HOPE alive and I went to register at Obama headquarters, am rounding up all the young voters over 18 who owe me, they always say, Mama Deep call me when u need me…well it’s calling time…get them over at Edward Waters College and downtown on the square, it’s on!

Let me warn you all. DON’T SLEEP ON THIS WOMAN! Although it appears that McCain’t picked her because he wants Hillary’s supporters, but UH-UH! It’s much bigger than that. McCain’t wants to open up drilling in Alaska and she is ALL FOR IT! Now we know that gas is the biggest headache right now, and he has a key–Palin–to unleashing an end to this foreign oil dependency. Oh, it’s going to be a long and bumpy ride!
I agree do not sleep on Sarah.
The Republicans are always so slick with their strategy and tend to look at many angles.
I was wondering how they were going to play up the “family value” issue this election and here it is.
With a husband that is very much into his children and marriage.
T–yep feeling you on this comment…and she evens wants to drill in the protected wetlands which he is AGAINST.
Beverly–The thugs are the folks who gave us swiftboat…definitely don’t put anything pass them…sigh.
And while folks have pointed out that she has her own scandal going on now and is under investigation…her scandal is small potatoes compared to others…esp. since it comes down to he say/she say…and McCains folks knew all of this before they selected her…I can’t believe they didn’t do a background check…but for some reason he thought she was bigger than any impending hearing…
Whew…this year is shaping up to be real POLITICS.
I didn’t see this coming either–but you know what for those who thought Hillary wasn’t as devoted as she was to the Obama ticket–ol’ girl is about to take off the coat and get in the trenches for real and let folks know without a doubt that she is 120 percent behind Obama–because she wants to be the first woman in the white house. Nobody remembers #2—#1 is the one that goes down more so in history. Watch and see–Hillary is quiet right now but you will see her PUSHING behond the limits now for Obama.
McCain is in the spotlight now, but his little plan is going to backfire. Remember I said it on this day in 2008

Oh and another thing…why do some women feel they have to wear glasses to make themselves look smarter? A commentator this morning made an observation. She’s trying to thumb down her looks with the glasses. She was the runner up in the Ms. Alaska pageant at one point.
